What is Community Cred?
Community Cred is a region-based ratings system to help shine a light on exceptional local businesses. The system relies on the user’s geophysical location and gives a list of businesses listed in the area. The user will be greeted with information on highest ranking businesses in the area based on industry. From food to business advisors this is a system designed to give credibility to local businesses from communities at large.

Porject Background
Community Cred. This was chosen to remind the user that this is meant to credit the community. Subsequently these creds are used on the application and bring a credibility to the project.
Project Goals
Goals
Goals of the project is to have a working prototype of community cred. This includes a sign up page, home page, review page and explore page. This will allow for users to find new businesses.
Problem Statement
Customers are unable to find credible information about businesses in their immediate area. The customers lack a way to trust the service they will be given. For businesses this is a major gap in their market infiltration as the customers only hear about the business through word of mouth and they do not showcase themselves or their skills.

The application should be designed to allow for users to comfortably expect a high level of service.
Phases of Creation
The application went through a series of different iterations. The designs were sent and approved by an independent group of individuals gathered around my local area. This will showcase the different versions of the application from designing with wire-framing to the final prototype.

Wireframes
First Draft
The wire-framing section is about getting ideas into the world. I set myself a timer and designed with a paper and a pen what the website would contain. Here I let my creativity flow as a UX Designer and understood the elements required to create this application.

Second Transcript
The second transcript was me bringing forth what I had previously put on paper. This phase included colour and the endless design options though I kept in mind the purpose of the application; To bring customers to businesses in their local area. Here I tried new styles and colours to bring new users to new businesses.

Pre - Approved Design
This section is brought about the layers of depth required in the ways of communication in marketing and design. Orange has always been one of my favourite colours and with its warm and inviting nature it became the base colour of the project. The darker purples and glowing are drawn in by the eye. This brings a feeling to the design.

Final Design
Having elected on the final design being in a web format the lessons learnt in the previous stages were valuable. Understanding branding and communication has become a staple in my journey as a UX Designer. The colour palette chosen was a modern and refined white look with large images of business in their area. Communicating a safe and welcoming environment was important for the soul of the application.
